PSG to receive a handsome sum for Nkunku
Transferred to Chelsea for around €60 million, Christopher Nkunku will bring in a handsome sum for PSG, who had negotiated a percentage on resale when he transferred to Leipzig in 2019.
Christopher Nkunku was officially transferred to Chelsea on Tuesday, after four fine seasons with Leipzig, where he took on a new dimension, becoming a French international and one of the Bundesliga's most formidable strikers.
The price of Nkunku's transfer to the Blues has not been announced, but is in the region of €60 million, according to a number of sources (some are even talking in excess of €60 million).
PSG to recoup around €7m
A handsome capital gain, whatever happens, for Leipzig, who recruited him in 2019 for €13 million. Good news, too, for PSG, who had negotiated a 15% capital gain on a future transfer.

15% of €47 million (60-13) is around €7 million. France Bleu Paris puts the figure at €6-7m, while L'Equipe puts it at €6.5m. A nice little cheque in any case, which more or less corresponds to what PSG will pay to release Christophe Galtier from his final year's contract.
