Strasbourg: Patrick Vieira's first words

Strasbourg's new coach, Patrick Vieira, told the Alsatian club's official website about his first job.

It's official: Patrick Vieira is Strasbourg's new coach. The 1998 world champion has signed a contract with the Alsatian club until June 2026, taking over from Frédéric Antonetti.

I'm particularly happy to be joining Racing," Vieira told the RCSA website. I'm familiar with the club's history and identity, the fervor it arouses, and the importance it holds for its territory, a land of soccer and passion. The rebuilding of the club over the last few years under Marc Keller's leadership is a shining example. Working with him is a real pleasure. Today, a new cycle is beginning for Racing, and it's exciting for a coach to be able to build on the values that make a club strong".
