Transfer PSG: Mbappé at Real Madrid in 2024?

Kylian Mbappé is displayed on the front page of the Madrid daily AS this Friday. According to the Spanish media, the French international wants to leave PSG for Real Madrid by the summer of 2024.

Extended last May until June 2024, with an additional year as an option, Kylian Mbappé will not leave PSG during the next summer mercato. At least, PSG has no intention of selling its generational crack this summer and will do everything to convince him to activate the option to stay at least until 2025.

This Friday, the Madrid daily AS makes its front page about Mbappé with this headline: "Mbappé, only if he arrives free". The pro-Real daily says several things in its article. Already that Mbappé would like to join Real Madrid this summer. But aware that PSG will not open the doors to a departure, Mbappé would be willing to wait until the summer of 2024. A wish that he would have already transmitted to "high authorities" of the entourage of Real, according to the same source.

Real Madrid no longer wants to negotiate with PSG

Still according to AS, Real Madrid has decided to never negotiate with PSG and therefore wait until Kylian Mbappé is free to recover it. Either in 2024 if Mbappé does not activate his additional option. Or in the worst case a year later. While he has negotiated a juicy salary of €72M gross per year at PSG, AS also claims that Mbappé could "make an economic effort" to sign for Real.

All of these claims from a pro-Real media are obviously to be taken with a grain of salt and it will be interesting to see what the French press publishes on the subject. Asked about his future after the elimination against Bayern Munich, Mbappé had kicked him on the sidelines: "Can this elimination play on my future? No, no, I'm calm, the only thing that matters to me this season is to win the championship and then we'll see."
