Verbal agreement between Pochettino and Chelsea

Without a job since his departure from PSG last year, Mauricio Pochettino is about to bounce back at Chelsea.

After interviewing several coaches, including Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique, Chelsea is in the process of making its future coach official for next season. Unless there is a surprise, it will be the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who has managed Southampton, Tottenham and PSG.

For several days now, various sources have reported a rapprochement between the London club and Pochettino. According to the English radio talkSPORT, a verbal agreement has been reached between Chelsea and the Argentine, who should arrive on the bench of the Blues at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sports, the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino for next season is getting closer and could be officially announced next week. Frank Lampard, who was appointed interim coach of the Blues this month, will finish the season on the bench.
